Looking east from Giant's Castle this morning
I arrived at Giant's Castle early this morning to discover that the wind had dropped and was coming from the west. It was not until 09.15 when the first Cory's Shearwater lazily passed west, only to be followed immediately by three more. In two hours, I4 Cory's Shearwater passed through and like the Balearic Shearwater, they all flew by at close range.
