Fours kids hanging out together and one of them has a big gun!
This morning we set off to Hebron in SW Palestine and shortly after arriving we started talking to a local and he said that he would be happy to show us around. He wanted to take us to the old city where Israeli settlers live side by side with Palestinians. We were taken through a number of check points where a 16 year old girl was shot only two weeks ago. Also a member of his family was shot at the same check point. Palestinians are killed by both Israeli soldiers and settlers and a mosque that we went into, we were told that a settler came in the mosque and shot dead 29 Palestinians while they were praying! A lot of the settlers I saw had the same automatic guns as the soldiers did while Palestinians walk only meters away from them. The Palestinians here are now trapped in their own homes where the settlers and soldiers have full control over them. It's very upsetting to walk around and see the whole situation where the Palestinians are oppressed. For the Palestinians who still live in this area, without any notice, could be kicked out onto the streets tomorrow and loose everything they had. I cannot believe that this is allowed to continue and the international law and UN just sit on their backsides and do nothing. While we were walking around the area where the Israeli's mix with the Palestinians, there were Internationalist observing both sides. However, talking to one of them, it was clear that he was protecting the Palestinians.
Once where the old city of Hebron was a thriving community is now a ghost town because the Israeli government closed the area down and kicked the Palestinians out and Israeli settlers moved in..
The checkpoint where two weeks ago a 16 year old girl was shot. Unfortunately it's regular that kids get shot all over Palestine by the IDF
Note the Israeli soldier in the tower looking down over the Palestinians. The cage above is to protect the Palestinians from being hit by missiles by Israeli settlers
Here I'm standing on Palestinian land while in front of me, Israeli homes are also on Palestinian land
Another watch tower with a soldier watching every move you make with Israeli flags dotted all over the shop.
The Palestine kids got my camera and took pics of their mates
This one was in a fight that I had to brake up. While I've been in Palestine I've seen a lot of fights start up in the street only to be broken up by locals a few minutes later.
They took loads of me. So I messed around
It made him laugh anyways or maybe he was just laughing at me
This is Dave, face on, chanting to me who is a security guard living in Jerusalem. He used live just up road from me at Bodmin in Cornwall. He was also a security guard in the Northern Ireland, Gulf War and Beirut. He believed the Gulf war was a waste of thousands of lives and he also believes that how Israel is getting with their treatment towards the Palestinians, is disgusting! This pic was taken by one of the Palestinian kids.
This was on one of the walls
Followed by this
As we moved out of the old city we came across one of the butchers
And very young children selling cigarettes
Most of roads are built and controlled by the Israeli police and militarily in Palestine. They have the power to take your car away while in the cities the Palestinian police patrol the area. However, the IDF can come into the cities at anytime without warning and do whatever the hell they like,
Israeli settlement looking down on Palestinian homes
1000's live on this settlement and it's only a matter of time when the roads will be cut off from the Palestinians and only used for the Israeli's. It's so obvious what is goin on around all of Palestine and the world just turns a blind eye and let the Israeli government continue to encroach onto Palestinian land
In his support with Palestine and his anti Israel views, Roger Waters has lost millions in sponsorships.
Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters's polarising views on the Israel-Palestine conflict have lost him legions of fans and made him the subject of fierce scrutiny; now it looks like it's costing him money. Page Six reports that the 73-year-old British rocker has lost a major sponsor.
According to the publication, credit card giant American Express has baulked on its plans to put up $4m (£3.2m) for his 2017 tour in North America following his comments at Oldchella festival – an event the company sponsored −earlier this month. Festival-goers were said to have been stunned by the performer's anti-Israel rhetoric after he took to the stage. Other acts included Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
Back in 2012 Waters − who has been accused by some of anti-Semitism − joined the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
He told the crowd: "I'm going to send out all my most heartfelt love and support to all those young people on the campuses of the universities of California who are standing up for their brothers and sisters in Palestine, and supporting the BDS movement in the hope that we may encourage the government of Israel to end the occupation," referring to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian West Bank.
While American Express has yet to comment on Waters's partisan views, a spokesperson told Page Sixthat it never committed to sponsoring his string of dates. "When we were approached with the options, we passed on making a bid. It is a balancing act to work with artists our card members love, within the budgets we have allocated." Waters is believed to have since partnered with Citi.
He previously urged fellow musicians to join the movement in an open letter published in the Guardian: "[This is] a plea to my colleagues in the music industry, and also to artists in other disciplines, to join this cultural boycott."
