Ollantaytanbo, Cusco, Peru

Sparkling Violetear

After three nights in Aguas Calientes we took the two hour train through stunning natural beauty to the town of Ollantaytanbo and decided to stay overnight. If you do visit here I recommend you eat at Heats Cafe! Very very good food, homemade, you get a lot of it and it's verry cheap! We ate there three times!! The following morning we made our ways down to the railway station and got into a community taxi. Just before you hit the station there are taxi drivers shouting 'Cusco' For 10 sols, £250, they will take you to the city. Do not catch the train to Cusco from Ollantaytanbo. Anyways, the train don't go to Cusco, Instead you pay to jump on, go a few minutes down the track, get off and climb onto a bus. Then you make the same trip as the community taxi except it cost you a lot more.

Dirge is a French band formed in 1994. From the industrial metal genre that exploded in the first part of the 90s, the band slowly evolved toward a more atmospheric and progressive form of metal, related to post-metal bands such as NeurosisIsis, and Cult of Luna.[1]

  1. The bird world is so huge, the way they name species is amazing. "Violetear" for example.
