Yellow-legged Gull and Shrewsbury Town FC

1st winter Yellow-legged Gull at Trench Pool

Cormorant resting at Trench Pool

My second visit to Trench Pool in the morning produced a 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull and a 1st winter Common Gull. There was also 53 Tufted Ducks and 9 Pochards. After this, the rest of the day was spent shopping in Shrewsbury with Gayna and Ant Do. Great!
After shopping, we went and made a visit to Shrewsbury Towns new stadium, New Meadow. Here we went and looked at the mamorial wall where past supporters included my grandad, Charlie Webb, Lifelong fan, who died September 11th '64 when leaving the Old Gay Meadow stadium.
The whole family are longlife fans and my old man even had trials with the club many moons ago! After that, we went onto the pitch itself.
