A new WILSON'S SNIPE at Lower Moors

A great find by Mark Halliday of this WILSON'S SNIPE at Lower Moors

  On Friday the 3rd, I got a call from Mark Halliday telling me that he had a snipe earlier at Lower Moors showing characteristics of a WILSON'S SNIPE!! He was just returning home on the boat when he called me and later he sent me some pics of the bird in question. Mark told me that Adam Hutt was very happy with it. I showed the pics around to the island birders and the following day Mark sent some different pics and yeah, it looked really good for a Wilson's! Saturday and Sunday, I was at Lower Moors for the snipe but all the waders were out in the middle and hidden away behind the grass. No chance! Mark asked me to send his images onto James Lidster. James found a Wilson's Snipe at Porth Hellick earlier this October. There was another reported at the same time also at the latter site.

  This afternoon I was back in the ISBG hide and found 20 Snipe directly in front of the hide actively feeding! And it didn't take long to find Mark's Wilson's Snipe among them. I called everyone to let them know it was here and Nigel Hudson and Martin Goodey turned up. It performed really well showing off it's tail, upper and underwing and was easily picked out from the snipe by it's darker appearance with white tramlines. This was clearly a different individual and the easiest to identify as it shows all the right features out of all three Wilson's Snipe that of turned up this autumn.

Who is being exposed?

Well there is no surprise that Bono and the Royal Family are on this list and the Tory party deputy chairman and a significant donor, lord ashcroft! The filthy rich and they point a finger and make programs about people pretending to be on the dole and claiming benifit at the same time loosing us millions every year! 

  Lets start off with the Queen. 10m offshore taxes!! I just can't see the BBC making a documentary about the Queen and offshore taxes, can you? It's a joke!! 
  Did anybody get arrested for the Panama Papers? Osborne, Cameron to name a few?? No they didn't and that's the way it's goin to be with the Paradise Papers!

The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists today releases The Paradise Papers, a global investigation that reveals the offshore activities of some of the world’s most powerful people and companies.

ICIJ and 95 media partners explored 13.4 million leaked files from a combination of leaked files of offshore law firms and the company registries in some of the world’s most secretive countries.

The files were obtained by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, and shared with ICIJ.

The Paradise Papers documents include nearly 7 million loan agreements, financial statements, emails, trust deeds and other paperwork over nearly 50 years from inside Appleby, a prestigious offshore law firm with offices in Bermuda and beyond.

The leaked documents include files from the smaller, family-owned trust company, Asiaciti, and from company registries in 19 secrecy jurisdictions.

The Paradise Papers reveal offshore interests and activities of more than 120 politicians and world leaders, including Queen Elizabeth II whose private estate indirectly invested in a rent-to-own loan company accused of predatory tactics. At least 13 allies, major donors and Cabinet members of U.S. President Donald J. Trump appear, including Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross’s interests in a shipping company that makes millions from an energy firm whose owners include Russian President Vladimir Putin’s son-in-law and a sanctioned Russian tycoon.

The leaked files from Appleby, the offshore law firm, include details of tax planning by nearly 100 multinational corporations, including Apple, Nike and Uber.
